The PFF Fair Play Charter

The PFF Fair Play Charter is applied according to whether the game is a Starter game or any other type of game as detailed below:

All games EXCEPT Starter games
1) In these games one member will be able to manage only one team.

2) No transfer deals will be allowed between any two members who:

a) Live at the same address
b) Are related

3) No 'cosy' relationships will be allowed.

4) One member should have managerial influence/control over only one team

In Starter games
1) A member can manage more than one team but not in the same division (unless they end up in the same division following promotion/relegation.

2) Transfer deals (swaps) will be allowed between a member's own teams. However cash-only transfers, BM sales and loans will not be allowed between his teams. The same will apply to teams managed by relatives or those living at the same address.

FAQ - for all games except Starter games

1) What do you mean by 'cosy'?
Basically we mean that we will not allow:

a) An unusual number of deals between the same members (turn after turn).
b) Exclusive relationships - ie where two (or more members) deal with each other to the exclusion of any other member.
c) Where the nature of a deal(s) between the two is, in our opinion, unrealistic.

2) What do you mean by have managerial influence/control over another team?<br>
An example of this would be if the manager of Chelsea in your game asked if you would be willing to sell him a particular player if in return Arsenal sold you a player. Straight away the alarm bells should ring. How can the manager of Chelsea have any say in what players Arsenal is willing to sell? The answer is he should not have any say or influence (over Arsenal) and if he does something is not right.

3) Does this mean that I can't play in the same game as my brother (father etc)?
Not at all - it just means that you will not be able to do transfers with them (perhaps consider joing a Starter game where this is allowed)

4) Does this mean that I can't play in the same game as my flat mate who lives at the same address?
Not at all - it just means that you will not be able to do transfers with them (perhaps consider joing a Starter game where this is allowed)

5) Does this mean that I can't play in the same game as my friend?
Not at all - it just means that we will monitor any deals between you and your friend more closely than we would deals with other members. If we feel that there is a 'cosy' relationship you can expect transfers to be blocked and we may inform you that no further transfers between your two clubs will be allowed.

6) Isn't all this a little harsh?
We don't think so. For the majority of members it will have no impact at all. It will only affect those who seek to gain an advantage by doing deals which are unfair to the other members in the game.
