Skeeno it may be worth chancing Hinterland for queen mother champ chase at NRNB as I would think that's where it will race with it been a 2nd season Novice and him not having a horse for the race, I took 14s with Skybet last weekend, still available I think

May consider that mate. My concern with Hinterland is every season he starts well then goes off the boil.

Been given a fairly big word for Indian Castle in Kim Muir. Only 6s but stable does like that race and likely to be shorter.

I wonder if we can eke out a couple of big prices following this system.

Horses being fitted with headgear for the first time.

Last year these were ...

Day 1
His Excellency Arkle- 3rd 80/1
Rock On Ruby CH- 2nd 11/2
Ackertac Novice H/Cap Chase - 2nd 66/1

Day2
Tour D'Argent Coral Cup - Unp 50/1
Timesawastin Coral Cup- Unp 50/1
Flaxen Flare Fred Winter - 1st 25/1
Ruacana Fred Winter - Unp 14/1

Day3
Benefficient Jewson NC - 1st 20/1
Holywell Pertemps - 1st 25/1
Same Difference Fulke Walwyn - 1st 16/1

Day 4
Vasco Du Ronceray Triumph - Unp 20/1
Brampour Vincent O'Brien - Unp 50/1
Act Of Kalanasi Conditional Jockeys HC Hurdle - Unp 50/1

Not bad eh?!

I think it goes that the trainer knows from work conducted at home/on gallops that horse X improves by Y when Z is fitted. Do you fit that straight away though? Well the answer is no. You fit it when you're targeting a race. i.e. at the festival.

I'll bung qualifiers up during the week. A 1 each way on that lot would have returned 136.30

Might stay away... Had a pot on today at Leicester. I'd picked out Leeroar in the 2nd race to cover the odds on, then for some strange reason decided not to bother with it... needless to say it beat the fav and 2nd fav (who both fell/unseated) and the pot went on to be worth 1653.50.... GUTTED doesn't come close!!

How do i follow your Blog Skeen?

This morning I Backed On His Own ew @ 40/1, Willie Mullins will be supplimenting this later today and will go off less than half them odds, carrying a big weight in a gold cup will not be a problem for this horse as it lumps big weights around all the time

Backed Jezki at 10s e/w in the Champ Hurdle.

Also backed Mr Mole at 12s in the Grand Annual. Reckon the Mole will end up going off about 4s.
