It was the customary two games this week as Monarchs kicked off their FA Cup campaign away to The Knave and it was Player-Manager Hawkins who was the catalyst behind a thumping 4-0 victory with a hat-trick.Yaya Toure weighing in with the other.
The league was a much tougher game with Monarchs again on their travels, this time at Colburn Town.Monarchs were always in control of the match once Van Basten gave them a 13th minute lead and, even though Colburn equalised, Jairzinho and Ballack gave Monarchs a 3-1 Half-Time lead.Colburn did pull another back in the second half but Monarchs held on for the win and rise to 5th.
No transfers came in this turn as Manager Hawkins forgot to put his orders in!!
VIVA LA MONARCHS!!!!!!

Two more victories this turn continued Monarchs' resurgence as both AFC Vuvuzela and Inter Ya Mam were both put to the sword.
It was a home game in the Cup against Vuvuzela and tho it was a tight match Van Basten's cool finish after 25mins was enough to settle the tie and send the home team through.
It was also a home tie in the league against Inter Ya Mam and
once again it was that man Van Basten who opened the scoring before the away team scored a shock equaliser.Monarchs continued playing their fluent football tho and were rewarded with strikes from Jairzinho and Puskas to seal a 3-1 victory.
After such a poor start to the season that result has now moved Monarchs up to 4th-Above the mighty Red Devils!
Transfers and Hawkins decided to actually do his turn this week and therefore managed to pick up his previous target Velazquez for a nominal fee.
VIVA LA MONARCHS!!!!!!

Just the one league game this turn and Monarchs continued their impressive form-albeit with a tight win at home to McGovern FC.
In a match of little chance it was no surprise that the 1st half ended scoreless but just 5mins in to the second half Batistuta finished off a flowing counter attack and that was how it ended.
Another 3pts in the bag and still 4th in the league-tho Escalona continued their impressive unbeaten start to the season.
Manager Hawkins also managed to add another couple of players to the squad with Yattara and Rahman coming in.
VIVA LA MONARCHS!!!!!

It was back to the two games this week and the Monarchs juggernaut continues.
First up was a D.C Cup 1st Leg game at home to Old Northolt and two goals in the first 17mins settled the tie from Puskas and Van Basten has given Monarchs a great chance of progressing.
In the league away to Sparks Monarchs went goal crazy and raced into a 4-0 half-time lead through Jairzinho,Puskas(2) and Van Basten. Van Basten then hit his second before Sparks hit a late consolation to finish 5-1 to Monarchs.
Monarchs stay 4th in the league but the games are about to start getting much tougher.
Monarchs manager Hawkins once again forgot to put in his orders after doing the write-up so no transfers were brought in tho Fonte left the club.

It was another impressive week this week for Monarchs despite dropping a couple of points in the league.
First up was An FA tie away to McGovern Fc and Ballack and a Batistuta double ensured Monarchs wouldn't be on the end of an upset with a routine 3-1 victory.
Next up was the 2nd leg of their D.C Cup game and it ended with the same scoreline-Batistuta and a Puskas double this time and an aggregate score of 5-1.
It was a much more tougher game in the league away to Rangers Legends and despite twice taking the lead through Batistuta and Hawkins Monarchs couldn't see the game out and had to settle for a 2-2 draw which took them down a place to 5th in the league.
Hawkins decided to actually try and bring in some players this turn and acquired the services of Rybus,Bergomi and Zubizaretta.
VIVA LA MONARCHS!!!!!

The games keep coming and Monarchs are still on a impressive unbeaten run but faced a real test in the league this turn.
First up tho was a LC 3rd round match at home to Watch And Learn.Monarchs flew out of the traps and goals from Batistuta and Ballack in the first 25mins gave Monarchs a lead that they never looked like throwing away and it stayed 2-0.
In the league it wasa daunting trip away to unbeaten leaders FC Escalona but Monarchs weren't phased by this and actually took the lead through Van Basten after 26mins.Escalona equalised in the second half but Puskas gave the away side the lead once more but Escalona again replied 13mins from time to secure a 2-2 draw which keeps Monarchs 5th in the league.
Nabil Fekir joined the club this turn with Lila and Jonathan Rodriguez leaving the club.

A rarity this week as there was just a league game to play but once again it came against stern opposition in the form of Madman Madness at the King Stadium.
The away side took an early lead but Monarchs came storming back to lead through goals from Jairzinho and Messi in the first half but Madness once again equalised just before the hour and the score remained 2-2.Monarchs stay in 5th but continue to fall behind the pacesetters at the top.
Monarchs did lots of selling this turn with Baia,Vintra,Adrian Silva and Neil Taylor all falling foul of Hawkins' axe with just Barrantes coming in.
VIVA LA MONARCHS!!!!!!

Back to the two games this week and first up was a LC Quarter-Final at home to Rangers Legends.
The scourge of Monarchs returned to haunt Monarchs as Hateley gave Legends an early lead but Messi cancelled it out late in the half to finish 1-1 and a replay is needed.
In the league it was an away game against Watch And Learn and Monarchs cruised through to a 3-0 victory with Puskas,Messi and Batistuta hitting the target but Monarchs still stay 5th on goal difference from Arch-rivals Red Devils.
In transfers just Anthony Lopes joined with Daley Blind leaving for the Red Devils revolution.

All good things finally come to an end and Monarchs impressive league run came to a shuddering halt this turn at the hands of Arch-Rivals Red Devils.
Before that tho there were no fewer than 3 Cup games to be played which started at AFC Aces in the FA Quarter Final. It was a tight first half but Batistuta scored 2 minutes from half-time and Monarchs never looked like conceding after that. Midway through the second half Jairzinho doubled the lead and Monarchs saw out a 2-0 win to advance to the semis.
Next up was a LC Quarter Final replay away to Rangers Legends and despite Toure giving Monarchs an early lead they succumbed to goals in each half to bow out 2-1.
Next was yet another away game, this time a DC Cup Semi-Final at Red Devils and again Monarchs scored 1st through Batistuta but Devils came storming back to lead 2-1 before Toure equalised to leave the tie on a knife-edge at 2-2.
Lastly was Monarchs only home game of the turn and it proved their worst game as once again Batistuta gave Monarchs another lead but they were dragged back by goals in each half as Devils stole a 2-1 win from the King Stadium but Monarchs still stay 5th.
Transfers and Ruggeri,Zabaleta and Danilo all joined the club with Velazquez choosing to join a inferior team.
VIVA LA MONARCHS!!!!
